About Us

Barkman Woodworking is a privately owned shop located in the central New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania area.  We are a small shop  with over 20 years of  experience. We have no salesman so you deal directly with Steve, the owner and builder of your piece. We specialize in custom design.  One of the unique features of Barkman Woodworking is the  ability to take a log from forest to furniture  using our own sawmill and solar kiln.  We can take your design to create a piece of furniture that is created just for you.  We will ensure that the process will be a creative collaboration focused on accommodating your lifestyle, taste and budget.
